Shez is a British-Pakistani composer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in London.

With a background in vocal and guitar performance and jazz, his musical influences come from a variety of different genres including folk, soul, hip hop, rock, electronic as well as classical Indian and Pakistani music. He released his self-produced debut EP ‘Our Time’ in 2022 and has had songs played on national radio by BBC Introducing, Reprezent Radio and Threads and his latest song ‘Freeze’ came out the Stereofox label. He’s also collaborated with artists such as Elaha Soroor, anaiis and Victoria Port.

His recent work for film and tv includes compositions for Clarkson’s Farm, scoring and writing original music for seasons 1 and 2 of the Bafta-winning musical comedy series ‘We Are Lady Parts’ , for which he won an RTS Craft and Design Award for Best Original Composition in a Scripted Comedy, and scoring the award-winning Focus Features action/comedy film 'Polite Society’, which premiered at Sundance in February 2023.
